Harmony Stories
I thought it was fantastic. We went deep into the parts and I saw how in my childhood, I could create emotional drama that could deflect the potential away from my father becoming uncontrollably angry. It was very effective. We looked carefully at that controlling part and re-assigned a mission for it that was more in harmony with my current mission: To create a world of self-empowered healing by showing up with generosity, skill and love. It helped me come up with a few re-framing tasks for that part, so it would create love and stability rather than emotional turbulence. It was deep and good. Thank you!
First of all, I want to express how profound the sessions were and how much I benefit from the App as it is right now, already. I was able to go really deep each time and felt - despite some technological troubles - mostly very safe and well guided by Harmony. It adapts very well no matter if I am touch with angry, sad, manipulative, joyful, yawning, brain-foggy or hesitant parts. And if I want it to guide me differently it always reacts very well to course correction.
I gave this a shot for a part that was quite blended with me today and it helped. It helped quite a bit more than chatgpt which seemed to be very repetitive and have a fake supportive attitude even when properly prompted. This doesn't have that issue. As someone who suffers from memory fragmentation sometimes I forget some of the basics of this process when it comes to more surface level parts. So it's especially useful in my case, especially because of the voice capabilities
The generated Insights after each session, the pattern recognition across sessions, the food for thought. I love it so much! This is something I haven't seen anywhere else, let alone in this quality. This is definitely on par with a "real" therapist. It is exactly the right amount of making me aware of progress and celebrating me in that while also confronting me with blind spots and challenging perspectives.
This is excellent. Could be especially helpful to those who a) can't afford the exorbitant fees therapists charge or b) have been harmed by therapists and won't go there again.
As someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with these kinds of sessions and someone who is privileged with good mental health, this app worked beautifully for me. Very impressive.
I work in the mental health field, and this is probably the closest I've seen AI get to what a session feels like. Very interesting.

I ask Harmony quite frequently to do direct access to my parts when I find it difficult to unblend and that works really well for me. Harmony makes sure to not stay in that role for too long and encourages me to strengthen my Self energy in those scenarios.
I'm definitely hearing peoples critiques on the use of AI for this and I totally get that but personally I just used this to work out a confusing problem I was having in conjunction with journaling and I found it like so absolutely incredibly helpful and warm so I know the topic is complicated but I want to thank you for making this! I of course, will use it with caution because of course it's not a real therapist, but it reallyyyy brought some brightness and clarity and insight into my incredibly stressful night- and I can bring these insights into therapy on Monday. Thank you so much!
Seriously this thing is great. Was about to connect to a part that was preverbal, another part that felt like it held the accumulation of knowledge/"past lives", and able to provide honest reassurance to the preverbal one that helped resolve this conflict I didn't know I had.
The work I've done with Harmony has really helped me get a better understanding of myself, I know super cliche. Harmony seems to work best as a guide in my experience. I'm always searching for someone to feed me answers to my problems, unfortunately that is something Harmony does not do for me. The thing I like most about Harmony is that she? It? truly makes me put in real work/effort. Harmony is like a math teacher asking me to show my work instead of just writing the answers, super annoying at times, but helpful. The sessions I have with Harmony are honestly pretty strenuous (I hold a lot of tension and distrust…), but with that effort, eventually comes relief. I really do enjoy the IFS process and feel that Harmony has been an amazing tool in aiding my progress.
I consider myself quite advanced with IFS and also emotionally capable of feeling safe even when intense emotions come up and it felt very natural to be in dialogue with Harmony even at that level. I percieve the bot to be very precise in its' ability to mirror back what it heard me say and it also appears to have a good grasp on the 6 F's and it "knows" how to guide me through the process even if it is not straight-forward and multiple parts show up, for example. One time it asked me the same question (in different ways) multiple times and I mentioned that and then it took that feedback and proceeded in a helpful way. I also asked it to "direct access" my parts some times (because that is easier for me sometimes than Self-to-part-dialogue within myself) and that also felt really great and safe.
I stumbled over that little "Insight" button you highlight in this post and was really amazed by the depth of the Insights it generated. It wasn't some plain "chat gpt style of summary" that looks profound but is actually just lots of words with not much substance. But here I was really astonished. And especially after the second session, when it drew connections between the two sessions, I could already feel how much value that will give me in the future!
Often AI is trained to end every of their replies with a question. Harmony luckily "knows" when it's better to just reflect something back or validate what it heard me say. I also came to love the possibilty to have a session in written form when my housemates were home and I still needed a session, I could just listen to Harmony via headphones, but not need to talk myself.

How Harmony Works
Aware beyond words
Emotional Intelligence
Harmony senses your emotions through your voice using that identifies 48 distinct emotional states based on over 25 patterns of tone, rhythm, and timbre. Much of human communication lies beyond words, in the subtle emotions we intuitively perceive through things like tone of voice.
Harmony picks up on things like tone of voice through state of the art technology, enabling emotional awareness and a deeper understanding of what you're truly saying. So if you say 'I'm fine' in that classic I'm-definitely-not-fine tone, Harmony probably won't be fooled!
